Juicy Butter Burger Sliders with Sweet Russian Sauce and Arugula Pesto
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 8 slider buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup arugula leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp Russian dressing
- 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Warm up the grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat
Put arugula, basil, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and pine nuts in a food processor and blend them together
Pulse until the food is very small
Slowly add olive oil to the food processor while it's running until a pesto forms
Put away
Cut the ground beef into 8 equal pieces and shape each one into a slider-sized patty
Add pepper and salt
Put the patties on the grill or griddle and cook for three to four minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them
Mix the Russian dressing, mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl while the patties are cooking
This will make the Sweet Russian Sauce
Spray the slider buns with melted butter on both sides when the burgers are almost done
Then, toast them on the grill or griddle until they get a little brown
Put together the sliders by putting a lot of Sweet Russian Sauce on the bottom bun, then a cooked patty on top of it, and finishing it off with a dollop of Arugula Pesto
Add the other half of the bun on top, and if needed, use a toothpick to hold it in place
If you want, you can serve the Juicy Butter Burger Sliders with extra sauce and pesto on the side
