Grilled Bruschetta



Enjoy the delightful combination of grilled Italian bread topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, and melted mozzarella cheese. The balsamic glaze adds a sweet and tangy finish to this delicious bruschetta.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of Italian bread
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup balsamic glaze
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

Preheat grill to medium-high heat

Brush both sides of the Italian bread slices with olive oil

Place the bread slices on the grill and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear

In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, and salt and pepper to taste

Top each grilled bread slice with the tomato mixture

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the tomato mixture

Drizzle balsamic glaze over the bruschetta

Close the grill lid and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly

Remove from the grill and serve immediately
