Cheesy Tortellini and Pesto Chicken Casserole
This Cheesy Tortellini and Pesto Chicken Casserole combines tender cheese tortellini, flavorful pesto chicken, and gooey melted cheese for a comforting and delicious dinner. It's easy to prepare and perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb cheese tortellini
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup pesto sauce
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
Cook the tortellini according to package instructions
Drain and set aside
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, pesto sauce, marinara sauce, and cooked tortellini
Mix well to coat everything evenly
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the mixture
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly
Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves before serving
Season with salt and pepper to taste
