Greek Salad
A classic Greek salad that is both cool and tasty. It has crunchy cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, salty Kalamata olives, creamy feta cheese, and a tangy Greek dressing. This dish is great as a side or as a light meal by itself.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of diced cucumbers
- 2 cups of diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup of diced red onion
- 1/2 cup of Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
- 1/2 cup of feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Dice the cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese
Put them all in a large salad bowl
Put the extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and mix them together with a whisk
Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss everything together
Add fresh parsley to the Greek salad to finish it off
Put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving so that the flavors can mix
