Easy Peel Hard Boiled Eggs Without Boiling

This method yields hard-boiled eggs that are easy to peel and have a creamy, golden yolk. It's a no-boil method that saves time and frustration!

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 pot with a lid
  • Water

Instructions:

Place the 6 large eggs in a single layer in the pot

Add enough water to the pot to cover the eggs by about an inch

Put the pot on the stove and turn the heat to high

Once the water comes to a rolling boil, immediately turn off the heat, cover the pot with a lid, and set a timer for 12 minutes

While the eggs are sitting in the hot water, prepare a bowl of ice water

After 12 minutes, carefully transfer the hot eggs into the ice water bath using a slotted spoon or tongs

Let the eggs sit in the ice water for at least 5 minutes to cool down quickly

Gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then roll it between your hands to loosen the shell

Peel the eggs under running water to help remove any remaining shell fragments

Enjoy your perfectly cooked and super easy to peel hard-boiled eggs!
